I first saw these in a Facebook soap group and decided to try them. They are as adorable in person as they are in the photo!
The mold is typically called a massage bar, so I used a play on the word to call them MOO-sage bars. At 4.5 oz. and 3-3/8×2-3/8″, they are a great size! And the nubs on the bottom feel good against your skin.
I use almond and strawberry (milk flavors) for the holstein (black-and-white) cows, coconut for the white cows, unscented for the black angus cows. Activated charcoal is used to make the black.
White or goat milk is used for the white and holstein cow colors. The pink udders can be made with clear or white/goat milk soap. We rarely use oatmeal soap base for these.
