Description
The main reason we have a sea turtle mold is because it was the favorite animal of a local young gal that was killed in a car accident. We made these (shown) for a fundraiser for her family. Ground and long-cook oatmeal looks a lot like sand on an ocean. We keep the bubbles formed on the surface to mimic the ocean’s waves crashing to the shore. The turtles set in the 2×4 rectangle mold.
Turtles can be bright colors as shown, or more lifelike. We often use a water theme fragrance and literal colors for the water and waves.
Any soap base can be used: white, goat milk, clear, honey, oatmeal.
